Compound Setae of a Sea Spider: An Adaptation for Grooming

Working with different plant species is such a joy when they produce beautiful colour gradient (and sometimes nice fragrance)! This was a nuclei isolation step - separating the DNA/chromatin-containing organelle from plant powder - for Canada Biogenome Project. It's critical to be speedy during this procedure, but I could not stand not capturing this moment of beautiful colours!
