In the Coyote's Gaze

While walking through my field site, Stanley Park, I spotted this coyote venturing through the wetland of Lost Lagoon in the middle of the day. There were countless people passing behind me but it was unbothered, only pausing to assess my intentions for a moment before continuing on. Like many others, this coyote is well-adapted to living in human-dominated environments.
