This photograph showcases a cross-section of Cryptomonas gyropyrenoidosa cells, precisely prepared using a microtome and encased within a resin capsule. Upon application of toluidine blue, each individual cell revealed itself, creating a field of blue dots when viewed under a dissecting microscope. The meticulous preparation process led to this distinct visualization of individual alga cells, offering a rare, magnified insight into their micro world. This micrograph stands as a record of our attempt to explore the biodiversity at a cellular level, highlighting the intricate structures and details that often remain invisible to the naked eye.
