The process of BRC research is limited not only to the field and the lab, but invariably includes the loved ones we have at home. As researchers, we often prioritize and showcase our work and study organisms, but not often do we address that we are whole, human beings who rely on each other and our little research assistants close to us. These are my cats (Felis catus), who are arguably some of the greatest contributors to my research process.
